The human body contains a most extraordinarily complex integrated system of organs, skeleton, nerves, muscles, skin, etc., which control every bodily function. Your body is the greatest wonder of creation; with reasonable care, it will continue to serve you and your personal needs, for decades.
That doesn’t mean that you won’t sometimes, ache; sometimes feel really debilitating pain, especially if you haven’t educated yourself concerning the proper maintenance of such a wonderful gift–your body.
Do you wake up with stiff, sore knees?
Do your knees hurt when going up or down stairs?
Do you frequently take ibuprofen, aspirin, Tylenol®, or other medications to help relieve your knee pain?
People usually take better care of their new Mercedes or Toyota than they do of their body. They make sure to change the lubricating oil in their cars according to their mechanic’s advice.
Does your knee pain keep you from the activities you’ve always enjoyed?
Should you follow helpful, available medical advice concerning state-of-the art maintenance needs for your physical self? You bet you should!
Do you even know about some of the things you can do, quite easily…things that will re-invigorate you, reclaim that great feeling of being able to move, walk, bend over or exercise without suffering pain while doing so?
People with osteoarthritis usually have joint pain and limitations in joint movement. Unlike some other forms of arthritis, OA affects only joint function.
Osteoarthritis affects cartilage, the hard but slippery tissue that covers the ends of bones where they meet to form a joint. Healthy knee cartilage allows bones to glide over one another.
With Osteoarthritis the surface layer of cartilage breaks down and wears away along with the synovial membrane shrinking. This allows bones under the cartilage to rub together, causing pain, swelling, and loss of motion of the joint.
You might be an excellent candidate for our non-surgical knee rehabilitation program.
